Charming vintage pink wicker sewing basket made by Princess in Algonquin, Ill. It likely dates to the 1940s or 50s. 

Lid, which is decorated with a floral decal, is attached to basket with woven cording that forms a handle. Inside the basket there is a holder for spools of thread.

Basket is in good condition. Basket portion is strong and solid. No holes or rips. There is some wear both inside and outside but nothing that wouldn't come with age.

Lovely to take to retreats and workshops.  This piece would also be great used as storage for small things in a bathroom or a kitchen. Cottage chic!
