Make A Fun Little Wool Applique Flower Cushion for Pins or Sachet. The raised edges of the pink petals add lots of interest. A nice gift for you and ALL your needlework friends.  Add a little bit of lavender buds to add a special finish to your pin cushion.

Pretty wool petals stitched with #8 Perle Cotton Blanket Stitch around the edges.  The center is layered with other raised petals in lavender, gold and yellow.  The large window pane check olive green wool background is hand stitched around the edge with Blanket Stitch.

Handy Hint:  thread a crewel needle for each of the Perle cotton colors in your kit to speed up your applique.
