I did a lot of embroidery when I was younger and I am getting back into it now. I recently purchased the "A house is not a home without a dog" pattern and am going to start on that today.  It is adorable!! I love dogs... especially my Gracie, she's a Yorkie-Shitzu mix.  Wonderful Designs!

I am currently not hand stitching anything but have recently done a couple of wool applique candle mats.  I have been admiring the snowmen embroidery designs and see that the Santa Clause ones are also adorable.  Winning one of these books would be wonderful and encourage me to get back into Slow Stitching.  I love getting these Newsletters, Robin, and enjoy your designs.  Thanks for always having fun things for us to see and stitch.

Slow-stitching on a shady porch is a favorite activity of mine! Currently, I'm stitching a project for my best friend's birthday gift. I plan on sewing it onto a pillow. It has a sweet quote on it that will always remind her of our friendship. Happy stitching! duchick at gmail dot com

I am working on several projects at once - an embroidered table runner as well as a EPP project. Since it is over 100 here in Texas, it is a perfect day to chill out inside with my needlework!

Wow! I just quit embroidering from this morning. I just finished your four seasons and had them framed. Love all your work and am thankful I found you on line many years ago!

In April on the day my dad was having his heart valve replaced I started embroidering Withches Hooray table runner. We waited several hours for that surgery to be finished with a great outcome. Today he is feeling great and on July 15 th I machine quilted the table runner. Today I am finishing an embroidered dish towel that has a turkey design (aunt Martha's monthly madness) for a friend who now lives in Montana. We have wild turkeys here in Oregon and she had. Never seen one until living here briefly.  Emrpoidery is a srress reliever for me. Thank you for your wonderful designs.

Love to "slow stitch"  as it looks so sweet with hand quilting.  Thanks for the nice patterns.  Working on snowmen in steamy hot Florida.

Embroidery was the first craft I learned as a little girl and is still my favorite needlework!

Slow stitching is my happy place. I love to take a few minutes to breath and stitch, even if I make errors and have to take out stitches it is very calming for me

I'm working on a crewel design right now - partridge in a pear tree. I love any kind of hand stitching. Thanks for the giveaway!

I love bird brain designs!  i made several mug rugs for Christmas last year with patterns from the SnowHappy book.  i recently broke my stitching arm, but find i can do the backstitch with my left hand-somewhat slower of course.  Slow stitching is so portable and when we're home from a long road trip, then i get to do the quilting part.  thank you for all your designs!
