I used DMC #8 Perle Cotton Antique Blue 931 for my sampler. Select your blue finishing fabrics and then find your DMC #8 Perle cotton for embroidery. Of course you can choose ANY Perle Cotton color to complement your home.
The 7" or 9" Morgan No-Slip hoops works beautifully for the sampler and the 5" hoops for the complementing ornaments.
