Four Stripe Vintage Tea Towel

A replica vintage-style tea towel once found in most kitchens from the 1920's through the 1940's.  Back then, the homemaker would buy the towelling by the yard and have to cut and hem the sides.  This is vintage look towel is hemmed on all 4 sides and is ready to add your embroidery or applique!

The four multi-color stripes will complement many kitchens as well as the decorative embroidery you will be adding!  A thirsty 100% cotton towel in a generous 18" x 28" size.  Remember to machine wash and dry your towels before beginning your embroidery.

Sticky Fabri-Solvy is the easiest way to transfer your embroidery design onto tea towels.  They are a more coarse and have thicker fabric when compared to muslin and not as easy to see through when you use your light box.  However, tracing the design directly onto your towel can be done with one of our Pigma markers in a color to complement your embroidery design.
