Embroider a colorful RedWork Santa with a holiday greeting in his beard. Hang your hand stitched ornament from a tiny Vintage Wooden Bobbin from an old ribbon factory. The bobbin was used to hold thread, set into a shuttle to weave the ribbon. Your ornament finishes 6 1/2" long.
Trace your Santa design directly onto the muslin with a Red Pigma Marker.
If you DO NOT like to trace, use Sticky Fabri-Solvy. Print your design onto the Sticky Fabri-Solvy. Pull off the printed Sticky Fabri-Solvy film from the paper and finger press onto your muslin. Add your hoop and get stitching in just minutes - super stuff!
Use a 5" Morgan No-Slip Hoop to stitch your cute little ornaments- the BEST hoop we have ever used. Approximately 3 1/2" x 8 1/2".
We have a Complete Kit for you that includes the pattern, muslin, #8 Perle cotton, crewel needle, pre-felted wool and, of course, the Vintage wooden bobbin.
DMC #8 Perle cotton used: Ecru, 301 Copper, 310 Black, 498 Turkey Red, 932 Blue, 937 Olive.
Handy Hint: thread a crewel needle with each of the #8 Perle cotton to speed your embroidery.
